I have successfully set up my own wireless network complete with fully functioning network printer. :) I feel everso slightly smug.

Some playing and tweaking, puter is alive!  Ish.  It's cranky and ornery, but working. This weekend is going to involve a lot of de-bugging and cleaning up, defragging and nonsense.

BUT... wanna know what broke it?  What little devil locked me out of my machine?  My fucking old antivirus software!   Who needs enemies...?
